A study on Improvement of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Centers for People with Disabilities Using AHP

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to review the problems in the operation of vocational rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities and to present alternatives, and to find ways to improve the operation of vocational rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities accordingly. To this end, the survey data of 47 out of 50 the director and workers in vocational rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities, policy managers, public officials, and academic experts were analyzed using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP). As a result, First, the 'welfare system' (0.703) was more important than the 'market system' (0.297) in the level 1. Second, the priority of the level 2 was 1)Protective Employment Service(0.401), 2)Transfer service(0.215), 3)Sale(0.201), 4)Production(0.184). Third, the priority of the level 3 was 1)Establishment of rehabilitation plan(0.047), 2)Training and task management(0.041), 3)Social adaptation training(0.040), 4)Supported employment(0.039), 5)Follow-up after Employment(0.039). Based on above research results, a plan to improve the operation to ensure the quality improvement and development of vocational rehabilitation facilities for the disabled was proposed.
